What You'll Learn:

Brain Science
What's happening inside of a traumatized brain and how working around the brain is your best approach.
Trauma Science
The types of trauma responses and how to spot them. (Most people miss these when working with clients and can unintentionally do harm.)
Subconscious Resistance
The relationship between trauma and the subconscious mind and the tools needed to help clients navigate sustained motivation and behavior change.
Business Pitfalls
The biggest mistake  most experts make that leads them to loosing clients, testimonials and case studies (causing hard to spot income drains and marketing problems.)
What You'll Learn:

There is no question...
Everyone you work with needs a trauma-aware approach.

About 90% of people in the US have experienced a traumatic event at least once in their lives. This statistic was reported before COVID and do not include lineage based trauma past down from generation to generation.
Everyone you work with has trauma blocks.
"You can do this! No Excuses!"

The motivational speeches given to clients sound harmless enough. They feel inspiring. Sometimes they are great approaches... except when a person has a history of trauma. When someone has trauma in their history even the most well meaning advice, simple meditation, or empathetic reaction can re-traumatize them.

The client thinks... "I'm not working hard enough," "I'm not smart enough," "I don't get it," or "I'm lazy." They start thinking something is wrong with them and begin to subtly (or not so subtly) retreat from meeting their goals.

The coach starts to think... "they just don't want it bad enough."

Even great coaches, millionaire coaches, successful coaches do unintentional harm every day. This leaves clients worse-off rather than better. With some simple modifications to the coaching approach, the client could have had a successful outcome and the coach could have had a great testimonial or case study for their work (and even repeat business!)

Being trauma-informed doesn't have to be "messy."
If a coach is trauma-informed they can work more quickly, safely, and effectively, guiding their clients to transformational results. These coaches seemingly can help anyone and don't get bothered or flustered. They get more repeat customers, better testimonials, and case studies that do the marketing for them.

Mistakes happen every day below the radar... even with highly qualified experts. That's why we've created this course.

Being trauma-informed doesn't have to be scary or "messy." In fact... it can be very empowering!

5 Big Trauma Myths You Need to Know!

Myth 1: Coaches Don't Work with people who have Trauma
Coaches DO work with people who have trauma. They just might not know it. There is no way to avoid (nor should you) people who have a trauma history. Even if they are not aware of it or educated about it... coaches work with people who have trauma histories and it invisibly impacts the client's progress.
Myth 2: Trauma is in the past
It is very common to want to stay away from the past when working with clients so that you don't get into the "therapy lane" by accident. However trauma, although it may have happened in the past, is expressed in the present. Trauma is "locked" in the body tissue. This creates present day problems with motivation, focus, distraction, procrastination, time management, relationships, communication, action taking etc. Trauma may have happened in the past... but it's expression continues to live on in the present.
Myth 3: Mindfulness, meditations, centering exercises & visualizations are safe for everyone
Because they tap into the parts of the nervous system where trauma is "locked in", seemingly harmless and "pleasant" exercises such as mindfulness, meditations, visualizations or even a few deep breaths can "unlock" a person's trauma. Your client may be very adept at hiding this from you! Trauma re-activation may look like lack of interest, negativity or problems "showing up" when really the coach has created an opportunity for trauma re-activation.
Myth 4: Trauma can be isolated
"I don't work with trauma" a coach may want to say. However, while they may think that working with trauma is an isolated event, our traumas infuse and inform the way we do everything. Trauma can not be isolated. It doesn't only come out at certain times. Traumas inform how people work, play, relate to others in relationships, take care of themselves and others, money, business performance... and how they think and feel about everything!
Myth 5: Trauma is messy!
Working with trauma does NOT have to look like having major breakdowns, uncontrollable emotions, scary anger, or massive catharsis. In fact, working with trauma can feel empowering! Coaches who have worked on their own trauma responses predictably find it easy and incredibly rewarding to guide and navigate others process... even and especially when trauma comes up.

A Word From Our Students:

"Ani and Brian are very special people not only because their work is grounded in science, compassion and service but they are the real to their core and that is expressed in all that they do and how they do it.  They live what they teach.   I trust them implicitly and this occurred naturally as the result of their consistent, real and loving approach to everything that they do.  They are excellent teachers."

- Kate LaValley, Owner, Insight Moves Physical Therapy

"I’ve struggled with getting clients and income consistently and often (literally) bought into the idea that the missing piece was a good funnel or a sure-fire marketing strategy. Turns out I was spinning my wheels trying to figure all of this out - working way too hard on it and driving myself crazy! With the help of NEW Health I went from being in debt, over-drawn in my bank accounts, with no idea how to “find” clients to having consistent $10,000 months.

-Julie Balderrama, The Lazy Dream Witch
"Ani and Brian are two of the most incredibly genuine people I have ever met, and I am so grateful for them! Words cannot express the gratitude I have in my heart for these two and the impact they have in my life. They lead with love and understanding in their teachings, and are brilliant in what they have developed in the past 20 years together.  Their program has completely transformed my life!
